Letters from Broken Bow children to First Lady
Michelle Obama
Dear First Lady Michelle Obama,
My name is Griffin and I’m good at football. I’m
writing today to let you know that I’m hopeful that we should change the
laws a little and I’m concerned that we are kind to animals.
Would you please help do that? I think this would
help so we would not kill animals as much.
Sincerely,
Griffin
Dear First Lady Michelle Obama,
My name is Alyssa and I’m eight years old. I admire
how you help people. Did you know I want to help people too?
I’m writing today to let you know I’m hopeful that
you can give food to the poor. Would you please send homes to the
hobos? I think this would help because they are homeless and have to
jump trains.
Sincerely,
Alyssa
Dear First Lady Michelle Obama,
My name is Kelsey and I’m seven years old. I admire
how you are nice. Did you know my family has all daughters, too?
I’m writing today to let you know I’m hopeful that
our country will do well. I’m concerned about people who have lost their
jobs and homes.
Would you please continue to volunteer? I think
this would help because we need people to volunteer.
Sincerely,
Kelsey
Dear First Lady Michelle Obama,
My name is Kenna. I’m writing to you to let you
know that I’m praying for you and your family.
In God we trust,
Kenna
Dear First Lady Michelle Obama,
Hi! My name is Ashley. I’m going into the seventh
grade. I am 12 years old.
I admire you for how you help our country.
I am writing today to let you know I’m praying for
you and your husband. May your family have safety and justice. May you
know how to handle hard situations. I pray that you can help our
community as well as our country of the United States of America to
handle our economic problems. I know you will try to make the wisest
decisions to make the world a better place. So PLEASE do all that you
can do to make your lives, our homes, our schools, and everything else
better.
Please help protect the lives of unborn babies
unable to protect themselves. Please help children and others to be
protected from abuse.
Sincerely,
Ashley
